I am a Community Producer at Mashable in New York, NY. At Mashable,
I work with our communities on Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Vine and
Twitter - with an emphasis on creating compelling and shareable visual
content to complement Mashable's editorial content.
Also, I create Vine videos for Mashable -- including this candy Dots vine and the announcement Vine for Mashable and (RED)'s Vine world record.
One of my favorite networks is Pinterest -- because it is so visual. I run Mashable's Pinterest account and have overseen its growth from 30k followers to more than 1.5 million followers. (We are now one of the biggest brands on all of Pinterest!)
I also have written more than 100 articles that have been published on Mashable - including community posts, contests, features and news stories.
Prior to Mashable, I was a production intern at CBS News New York and a media intern for Slate Public Relations in New York, NY.
I graduated from the University of Oregon in the spring of 2011 with a BS in Journalism: Electronic Media and a minor in multimedia arts.
I currently live in New York City, and I am loving every single moment. In my personal time I enjoy taking and editing photos, trying new animation techniques for Vine and exploring NYC.
